POWDER COATED & ANODIZED LETTERS
Stainless steel and aluminium letters.
Painted or anodized letters are used in situations where it is necessary to preserve the color of the advertisement in accordance with the company mark book.
We can get it through:
- powder coating – steel or aluminum in any color from the RAL palette
- anodizing aluminum
- colorful fronts
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat.
Anodising (also spelled anodizing in American English) is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Anodising increases resistance to corrosion and wear, and provides better adhesion for paint primers and glues than bare metal does.
Painted fronts – letter fronts consist of an additional layer of 1mm steel or aluminum and are glued to the front of the letters. This gives an additional spatial effect and an attractive silver border around the letter. Original HB-Projekt idea.
